Your Practitioner

Treated by one pair of expert hands.

Every appointment at RevIVe Your Look is carried out by Raquel — an experienced, register-listed prescribing practitioner who believes the best aesthetic work is the kind no one can point to.

You'll meet the same face at every visit: someone who consults honestly, treats conservatively, and looks after you long after you've left the room.

Polynucleotides — skin that repairs itself.

Rather than filling or freezing, polynucleotides work by supporting your skin's own repair processes — firmness, hydration and resilience — over a short course of sessions.

Given as a course spaced weeks apart · commonly used for under-eyes, face and neck · suitability assessed at consultation.

Your first visit

What actually happens, step by step.

Most people have never done this before, and nobody tells them what to expect. So here it is — the whole appointment, start to finish.

01

You arrive

A private room, the door closed, and no one else in the diary. Tea if you'd like it. Nothing starts until you're ready.

02

We talk first

Medical history, what's been bothering you, what you've had done before. This is the longest part, and it's meant to be.

03

An honest assessment

Raquel will tell you what she'd do, what she wouldn't, and what she'd leave alone entirely. Sometimes the answer is nothing.

04

A written plan

What's recommended, what it costs, and what it won't do. You take it away. Prescription treatments are never given on the same day.

05

You decide, later

No pressure and no deposit to think about it. When you're ready, we book the treatment — and you're reviewed two weeks after.

Safety

The part most clinics don't publish.

You're not really worried about the result. You're worried about what happens if something goes wrong at nine o'clock at night. So here's the answer.

  • A prescriber in the roomRaquel is a registered prescribing practitioner. Complications are assessed and managed in-house, by the same person who treated you — not referred elsewhere.
  • A written protocol, and emergency stock held on siteThere is a documented plan for managing complications, and the medication required to act on it is kept in the studio.
  • A number that reaches a personYou leave with a direct contact for concerns outside appointment hours. Not a voicemail, not a form.
  • Reviewed two weeks later, as standardEvery treatment includes a follow-up. Written aftercare is provided before you leave, and you can ask questions at any point.
  • Traceable products, single-use everythingUK pharmacy-supplied with batch traceability. Treatments are for over-18s only, and ID is checked.

Have a question first?

Questions

The things people actually ask.

Will I look like I've had something done?
That's the most common worry, and it's the whole reason this studio treats conservatively. The aim is that people tell you that you look well, not that they can see what you've had. If what you're asking for would look obvious, Raquel will say so at consultation.
Does it hurt?
Most people describe it as uncomfortable rather than painful, and it's over quickly. Numbing cream is used where appropriate, and you can stop at any point. Raquel will talk you through what you'll feel before anything happens.
What's the downtime — can I go back to work?
It depends on the treatment. Some leave a little redness for an hour or two; others can leave swelling or small bruises for a few days. This is covered honestly at consultation, and it's worth planning around anything important. As a rule: don't book anything the week of a wedding or a holiday.
Can dermal filler be reversed if I don't like it?
Hyaluronic acid fillers can be dissolved, and as a prescribing practitioner Raquel is able to manage that in-house. It's one of the reasons a prescriber-led studio is worth the difference. The specifics are discussed at consultation.
How long do results last?
It varies by treatment, by area and by person — anywhere from a few months to well over a year. Polynucleotides and skin boosters are given as courses rather than one-offs. You'll get realistic timings in writing as part of your plan, not an optimistic estimate.
Do I have to have treatment on the day I come in?
No — and for prescription treatments you can't. Consultation and treatment are deliberately separate appointments, so you have time to read your plan and change your mind. There's no pressure either way.
What if something doesn't feel right afterwards?
You'll leave with written aftercare and a direct contact for concerns outside appointment hours. Complications are assessed and managed in-house by the same prescriber who treated you. If anything is painful, changing rapidly, or affecting your vision, contact Raquel immediately and seek urgent medical attention.
You're only open Tuesday and Thursday — what if neither suits me?
Those are the two days held open for online booking, deliberately: one client at a time means the diary stays small. Raquel does work other days, but those appointments are arranged personally rather than booked online. So if Tuesday and Thursday don't work around your job or your childcare, message her — she can very often find you something. It's worth asking rather than assuming.
Where exactly is the studio, and is there parking?
The studio is at 12 Elderton Road, Westcliff-on-Sea SS0 8AQ — a few minutes from Westcliff station, with on-street parking nearby. It's a private treatment room rather than a shopfront, so you won't find a busy waiting area; you'll be the only client in the diary when you arrive. Directions come with your booking confirmation.
